Basic Questions
Where do we park when we visit the museum?
Our plans for renovations include adding two additional parking lots on the property…. but until construction is complete, visitors can park anywhere on Orman street along the curb. Please do not park on any grassy areas, or drive up onto the curbs or property.
*Special events may utilize overflow parking in nearby areas. You can find instructions for individual occasions under our ‘calendar & events’ tab at the top of our page.

Is your museum accessible for wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers?
Our museum is accessible to wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers. To access our building, there is a curb ramp along Orman street, facing 7th street, that allows wheeled mechanisms to safely enter the museum. An elevator is available to reach the second floor, and an additional ramp allows everyone to reach the stage in the auditorium.
The only area of the museum that is not currently accessible is the hallway to staff offices, which will be remedied during our planned renovations. The Taylor Museum anticipates complete ADA accessibility within our remodeling efforts.
