Bobby Horner has lived in Waco since 1976; attending Texas State Technical Institute receiving an associate's degree in architectural Drafting and Design. He worked for Waco architects twenty-two years, followed by employment with the City of Waco Inspection Department, retiring in February of 2025.
Horner’s interests include Waco History, Tourism, Waco continued development growth, Skills USA Texas where he serves on the Skills USA Texas State Board of Directors, and specifically for TEAMWORKS for Secondary Education (High School). He also serves on the Advisory Boards of the Building Construction Trades Careers at TSTC.
Horner serves on the McLennan County Historical Commission as Vice Chair, the Taylor Museum Board President, a member of Historic Waco, and is on the Jacob De Cordova Society Steering Committee.
Bobby Horner came on the board May 27, 2025, so far has 100% attendance.
